Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, did a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) a couple of days ago, which turned out not to offer very much information about the candidate and his policy proposals.

In total, it looks like Mr Trumps only answered a dozen or so questions from Redditors and the voting population.

This website, of course is interested in health policy and Mr Trump’s views on related topics. This is what we got from the AMA:

A participant asked, “Mr. Trump, as a self-employed young American, my health insurance costs have skyrocketed under Obamacare. Paying close to $300 a month with a $6,000 deductible is a challenge as I try and grow my business. What will you do as President to ensure that myself and others can not only enjoy the security of having health insurance, but also afford to keep it?”

The candidate replied, “One of the first things I will do is to repeal and replace disastrous Obamacare. I will put forward an amazing new plan, which will include many reforms, such as letting people buy insurance across state lines, increasing choice and competition, and bargaining for better, cheaper drug prices.”

Ok, but not much meat. It even prompted one individual to link to the Trump website for more info.

Other issues, not necessarily federal issues, but Mr Trump’s personal viewpoints were not covered like his thoughts on vaccines and the vaccine-autism link, which he has been quite vocal about in the past.

Overall, the AMA was unfortunately sparse; however, I did learn which presidents Mr Trump admires–“There have been many amazing Presidents in American history, including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan, all of whom I greatly admire.”

And he’s never tired of winning.
