Pamela Weathers

Pamela Weathers, professor of biology and biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), with Artemisia annua plants. Weathers is a leader in the development of therapies for malaria using only dried leaves from the plant. Her research has shown that these therapies are more effective and less expensive than standard malaria medications.
