In a follow-up on the measles outbreak in the Detroit-Oakland County, MI area, county health officials report the outbreak total has risen to 18 cases since Mar. 13.

Nearly 1000 vaccination were given during the past three days as special vaccination clinics were made available.

The health department reminds the public unvaccinated individuals need to get vaccinated within 72 hours of exposure.
