On the Sunday, Jan. 15 Outbreak News This Week Radio Show, I was joined by two great guests to look at some interesting and timely topics.

During the first half, Senior Associate at the UPMC Center for Health Security, Amesh Adalja, MD joined me to discuss the Lyme disease situation in Pennsylvania.

In the second half, The Dean for the National School of Tropical Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, Dr Peter Hotez, talked about the vaccine exemption situation in Texas and his recent measles outbreak prediction.

In addition, both infectious disease experts gave their thoughts on the controversial Op-Ed written by a Cleveland Clinic physician and the meeting between President-elect Donald Trump and anti-vaccine advocate, Robert F Kennedy Jr.
