The number of laboratory-confirmed Zika virus cases in the United States has now topped 200. Official numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stands at 193 in 32 states and the District of Columbia as of Mar. 9.

However, there are at least 10 cases reported in Florida and three in Texas that are not represented in the CDC tally to date. All cases are considered imported, or travel associated, no local transmission has been recorded.

In Florida, the Zika case count has reached 59 as of Friday with the addition of one new case in Orange County. Four cases in pregnant women and one sexually transmitted case in Polk County.

Miami-Dade County has reported 27 cases- more than any county in Florida, in fact, more than any one state.

New York has reported the second most cases with 25, according to CDC data, New York City has seen 15 of the cases including two pregnant women.

The Texas case count reached 22 as of Thursday.  21 were in travelers who were infected abroad and diagnosed after they returned home. One case involved a Dallas County resident who had sexual contact with someone who acquired the Zika infection while traveling abroad.

Harris County has reported nearly half of the cases with 10.

In Canada, As of Mar. 10, 22 travel-related cases of Zika virus have been reported in Canada. In the UK, nine imported cases have been reported since the current outbreak began in 2015.
