Does Kroger sell Thompson onions in Washington State?
Or in Virginia?
Is Whole Foods, Tom Thumb, Central Market, HEB or Natural Grocers in Texas sales outlet of Thomson foods? Are organic red onions included in the warning?
If you hear the answer will you let me know? I’ll do the same.

This site shows label pictures of affected product– https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/thomson-international-inc-conducts-voluntary-recall-red-yellow-white-and-sweet-yellow-onions-because#recall-photos
No – best I can tell, organic onions are not affected. The recall is for onions from a specific supplier, Thomson International Inc. They deal only in conventional produce, not certified organic.

Thompson does have organic produce, I have no idea if they have organic red onions.
I just called my Natural Grocers store in Norman, OK, and they said their onions were not affected, not from that distributor. Perhaps you could call the store where you bought the onions. Good luck.
i just called my whole foods. For Massachusetts at least our onions come from New York
Good to know. Been looking for this info and haven’t been able to find it. Calling was next on the list. Thank you for sharing.
I would call the store where you bought them and ask to speak to someone in the produce department to confirm. Whole Foods’ San Francisco locations apparently buy their onions from Country Sweet Produce and not Thompson’s.
what about thom thumb Oso sweet 4166 yellow onions from Chile? bought 8/3/2020.
Who sell these redonion ?
I just got a refund from Whole Foods in Arizona for 2 onions. One red and one yellow organic. They weren’t sure if they were from Thomson, but they told me to dispose of them to be safe
What stores in NY sell Thompson onions?
Is a red onion that only says “sweet D” on its sticker, sold by smith’s marketplace, included in the salmonella outbreak? No other brand or identifying marker. I just got two yesterday. Kinda feeling like I should just throw them out. Thanks in advance.
I had these too but I looked them upnand they are sold by Dalena Farms not Thompson International so they are fine
Sweet D is from Delana farms and not thompson
Thanks for your post! Got my Sweet D red onion at Walmart and was wondering.
Thank you. I have 2 beautiful red onions that say Sweet D here in eastern Canada. Woulda hate to throw them out!
Thanks. I got my Sweet D onions from Wegman’s here in Rochester, NY. I’ll keep them for now just to be safe.

Does Stop & Shop in West Hempstead, Long Island sell the Thomson brand of regular onions?
I called phone # online for Dalena Farms today and spoke to a lady who said that they’re onions are not part of the recall. I have a 3 lb. bag with a label that says Dalena Farms “Sweet D” Premium Onions. My bag has Yellow Onions.
Thank you,I was confused because walmart emailed me saying I might have purchased onions from the recall, but mine were all Dalena Sweet D. O_o Plus we already ate a bunch of them. <__<
Thanks!! That’s exactly what I have too. Good to know they aren’t included.
Does Amazon Fresh sell the onions in question?
Does Amazon Fresh in Florida sell Thomson onions?
What a joke the CDC is worried about these onions lol What about the gene therapy so called V that has killed millions worldwide and they are STILL trying to mandate that! Even after the P company was made to release their documents due to a lawsuit they then tried to get 75 years to release the info thanks to a judge who intervened and said to release the info every month…check out the 9 pages of side effects they knew about before obtaining the E U A ! Also check out how much money was donated to the FDA prior to approval of the EUA by this company!! It’s all out there and the CDC is worried about onions being contaminated ?
