The McHenry County Department of Health has linked D.C. Cobb’s to an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness.  According to ABC 7 Eyewitness News, “MCDH said it has identified an outbreak at D.C. Cobb’s, located at 1204 N. Green Street, after receiving complaints of 13 people who became ill after eating at the restaurant.”

The D.C. Cobb’s restaurant is located at 1204 N Green St, McHenry, IL 60050.  People who ate at the restaurant between August 29 and September 15 may have been affected.

The McHenry County Department of Health is urging anyone who developed gastrointestinal illness after eating at D.C. Cobb’s between August 29 and September 15 to contact their doctor or healthcare provider.  The Health Department says, “It is important that those who ate during this time complete the survey whether they have developed symptoms or remain well. The survey is a confidential, secure webform that is Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant and can be found at https://redcap.link/DC_Cobbs.”
