Analysis of the samples from the sick children reveal the causative agent to be Escherichia coli 026.

The cases have been linked to Reblochon cheese made with raw milk. The cheese, branded “Our regions have talent ” was sold in Leclerc stores in several regions.  All reblochons whole raw milk mark “Our regions have talent” marketed since January 21, 2018 in the Leclerc stores have been the subject of recall.

People who have bought these products should not consume them. The health authorities remind people who have consumed the products concerned and having this type of symptoms the need to consult their doctor as soon as possible by mentioning this consumption and the possible link with the bacterium Escherichia coli.
