This brings the country’s case count to 5,823.
The cases are distributed as follows: Tehran: 1539, Qom: 668, Gilan: 494, Isfahan: 484, Alborz: 305, Mazandaran: 606, Central: 265, Qazvin: 178, Semnan: 138, Golestan: 162, Khorasan Razavi: 135, Fars: 95, Lorestan: 107, East Azerbaijan: 77, Khuzestan: 64, Yazd: 81, Zanjan: 52, Kurdistan: 44, Ardabil: 41, Kermanshah: 31, Kerman: 40, Hamadan: 34, Sistan and Baluchestan: 34, Hormozgan: 30, South Khorasan: 18, North Khorasan: 23, Chaharmahal VA Bakhtiari: 16, Ilam: 15, West Azerbaijan: 33, Kohgiluyeh and buyer Ahmad: 6 and Boushehr: 8.
Jahanpour also reported 21 additional deaths, bringing the death toll to 145.

Italian health officials reported 1240 new cases over the past 24 hours. This brings Italy’s total to 5,883.
Another 26 deaths have been reported, bringing the number of fatal cases to 224.
