The South Korea Department of Health and Human Services reported (computer translated) an additional case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in an 82-year-old man.

The case, the 36th reported in the country, is also the sixth tertiary MERS infection and third fatality.

The Korean Herald reports that as of Thursday, 28 out of 35 confirmed patients had all been infected at the same health care facility.
