On the Sunday, June 5th airing of the Outbreak News This Week Radio Show, I was joined by two great guests to discuss to timely and relevant infectious disease issues.

In the first half, Founding Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and Professor of Pediatrics and Molecular Virology & Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine, and coauthor of an editorial in the journal, PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, Peter J. Hotez, M.D., Ph.D, joined me for an interview on the explosion of Old World cutaneous leishmaniasis in the Middle East and North Africa.

During the second half, Registered nurse, infection control specialist and a freelance writer, Erin Archer Kelser joined me for an interview on the contagious viral disease, measles.
