Mumps outbreaks on US East Coast universities

In this news brief, I look at several US East Coast universities and colleges reporting mumps outbreaks in recent weeks.

I look at the schools that span from South Carolina to Pennsylvania–the College of Charleston, Elon University, High Point University, Ferrum College and Moravian College.

I also go over some basics on mumps to include symptoms and complications and the MMR vaccine.
