The number of measles cases reported in Ohio continues to rise with the latest numbers from the Department of Health showing 249 cases to date. The county of Knox, where the outbreak began with unvaccinated travelers to the Philippines, is now up to 150 cases, accounting for 60 percent of cases statewide.

The case with the most recent onset of symptoms began on 06/04/2014.  The cases range from under six months to 53 years.  Of these cases, 115 cases are female and 134 cases are male. Eight people required hospitalization for their illness.
