As Metro Health continues to investigate the food poisoning outbreak linked to Pasha Mediterranean Grill, the agency has reported that 347 cases have now been linked – with 18 confirmed diagnosis of Salmonella infection and 12 hospitalizations. The health agency confirms that they are contacting everyone who is calling in to report. Metro Health continues to urge those who have become ill after eating at Pasha Mediterranean Grill to seek medical attention and stool testing from their medical provider.

As the final report is pending, Metro Health has reported that a food source has not yet been found. Despite this, there has been a laundry list of food safety violations like: improper use of gloves, food handlers not washing hands, improper cooling temperatures, to name a few. Also, two of the restaurant’s employees are reportedly sick. Whether these illnesses are part of (or the cause of) the outbreak has not been released.
