The Philippines Department of Health (DOH) reported an additional 206 coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the country total to 4,076.

In addition, 21 more deaths were reported today putting the number of fatalities to 203.

Also on Thursday, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has started distributing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) that were inspected and cleared by the Procurement Services-Department of Budget Management.

A total of 12,000 sets of PPEs were distributed to several hospitals across Luzon beginning April 7, namely (this list has been updated by the OCD):
Research Institute for Tropical Medicine – 2,000 sets
Veterans Memorial Medical Center – 1,000 sets
Quezon City General Hospital – 1,000 sets
Marikina Valley Medical Center – 1,000 sets
Manila Doctors Hospital – 1,000 sets
Quezon Institute – 1,000 sets
Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital – 1,000 sets
Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital – 1,000 sets
Ninoy Aquino Stadium – 3,000 sets
Meanwhile, the third batch of the delivered PPEs will be distributed beginning April 8 to the following facilities:
Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center – 800 sets
Tondo Medical Center – 800 sets
National Center for Mental Health – 800 sets
Quirino Memorial Medical Center – 800 sets
Ilocos Regional Training Medical Center – 1,300 sets
Batangas Medical Center – 1,300 sets
Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center – 1,000 sets
Las Pinas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center – 1,300 sets
National Kidney and Transplant Institute – 1,300 sets
National Children’s Hospital – 1,300 sets
Rizal Medical Center – 1,300 sets
