SES-RJ released items that make up the hydration center of the Dengue and Post-Covid Reference Center Jayme Tinoco Netto, such as armchairs, saline solution and some medications, to reinforce service in the unit.

Actions to control Aedes aegypti and to mobilize the population were intensified by the team of endemic disease control agents in the neighborhoods with the highest number of cases and where the death occurred, with a view to eliminating mosquito breeding sites.

SMS de Campos informs that, on the 9th, an integrated action will be carried out in Travessão, with multiple secretariats, to sweep mosquito outbreaks and guide the population through the municipal campaign “Dengue Aqui Não”. During the action, information pamphlets will be distributed, unusable items will be collected from properties, land and public roads will be cleaned, as well as treatment of potential breeding sites that cannot be eliminated.

SES-RJ and the Campos Health Secretariat reinforce that they continue to monitor the situation and act preventively, to prevent an epidemic in the city, and call on the population to collaborate to fight the mosquito that transmits dengue, chikungunya and zika, doing a 10-minute check a week at their homes to eliminate breeding grounds.
