After the absence of a new Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) case in the Saudi kingdom for at least a month, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reports a case in a 72-year-old Riyadh man.
In addition, the MOH reported the fatality of a previously reported 74-year-old Riyadh man.

As of July 23, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global MERS count is 837 laboratory-confirmed cases of infection with MERS-CoV including at least 291 related deaths
