New York City health officials reported an additional 14 measles cases in the Brooklyn/Queens area outbreak during the past week.

This bringing the outbreak total to 609 since Sept. 2018.

The latest cases were reported in Williamsburg (8), Borough Park (3), and one each in Crown Heights, Sunset Park and West Queens.

Rockland County

The number of measles cases reported in the outbreak in Rockland County has increased to 275 through June 19.

On Monday, Rockland County Executive Ed Day renewed the emergency order for the fourth time. The new order will remain in place until July 24.

Nationally 

From January 1 to June 20, 2019, 1,077 individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 28 states. This is an increase of 33 cases from the previous week. This is the greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since 1992 and since measles was declared eliminated in 2000.
