The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported an additional case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) Monday in an expat in Riyadh, according to press release Nov. 10.

The 45-year-old female who suffers from pre-existing medical conditions, is currently in stable condition. She had no contact with animals, including camels, the report notes.
Whether she had contact with suspected or confirmed MERS patients in a health care setting is still under investigation.

This brings the total MERS cases in the Saudi Kingdom to 799. 339 fatalities have been reported to date.
There have been 39 MERS-CoV cases reported in the Kingdom since 5 September. Nearly one-third of the patients reported close contact with camels before their infection.
