Outbreak News Today’s Robert Herriman will be hosting a World Rabies Day 2021- Livestream event on Facebook Live and YouTube on September 28, 2021 at 5 pm EST.
He will be joined by rabies experts and authors of the book, Rabies: Clinical Considerations and Exposure Evaluations, Texas State University’s Dr. Rodney Rohde and from the Texas DSHS Zoonosis Control Branch, Dr. Pamela Wilson.

Herriman will be asking the experts questions on all areas of the topic of rabies and viewers on the social media sites can contribute comments and questions.
The show will be livestreamed over the Infectious Disease News Facebook page and the Outbreak News TV YouTube page.
World Rabies Day is celebrated annually to raise awareness about rabies prevention and to highlight progress in defeating this horrifying disease.
28 September also marks the anniversary of Louis Pasteur’s death, the French chemist and microbiologist, who developed the first rabies vaccine.
