Health officials note that while the patient was infectious with measles, they visited several other local restaurants possibly exposing patrons.

The following Calgary and Banff area restaurants are affected: Asian Buffet – 9125 Bonaventure Drive S.E.., Calgary; Long’s Chinese Food – 1448 – 17 Ave S.W., Calgary; Castello Ristorante – 405 Spray Avenue, Banff and South Silk Road Chinese Restaurant – 823 – 14 St. N.W., Calgary. See AHS release with affected times.

AHS Medical Officer, Dr. Judy MacDonald said, “Patrons of any of those restaurants may have been exposed to measles.” For more infectious disease news and information, visit and “like” the Infectious Disease News Facebook page.
