The Ministry of Health of Malaysia reported that as of February 8, 11,127 dengue fever cases have been recorded in the country.

This is a 211.4 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022 (3,573).
Six dengue related fatalities have been reported in Malaysia to date, compared to zero last year at this time.
In addition to dengue, Malaysia officials report 72 chikungunya cases to date.
