A family practice clinic in the Nashville, Tennessee area has announced they will not be offering vaccines for patients at the clinic.

MMR vaccine/TDH

MMR vaccine/TDH

This was announced on the Cool Springs Family Medicine Practice’s blog earlier this week. The reason’s given are a laundry list of the anti-vaccine movement to include the of-debunked vaccine- autism link, the dangers of Gardasil, dangerous ingredients in vaccines and a defense of Dr Andrew Wakefield’s retracted paper from the 90s.

Dr. Daniel Kalb, MD with Cool Springs writes concerning autism:

Because they [vaccines] can cause Autism – yes, I’ve had 15 years’ experience in taking care of ASD kids, that’s a lot of vaccine injury stories from moms. Don’t tell me that they are making it up or they are just reaching for an explanation, or that it was a coincidence or that they are just too stressed, or that they are uninformed. All of those arguments are stupid.

Don’t quote the single study by the CDC that shows that MMR is not linked to Autism. One of the authors of that paper, Dr. Thompson, said that the data was falsified and the study manipulated. So, with this information and the lack of studies that prove the safety of combined vaccines, I can do no harm, so I’m out.

Outbreak News Today reached out to Paul A. Offit, MD, Director of the Vaccine Education Center and a professor of pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for a statement concerning the decision:

“By unnecessarily exposing children to preventable diseases, these physicians are choosing not to serve the children they have sworn to protect, Offit notes.

“It is remarkable to me that a state licensing board or professional society has not censured them for this.”

The philosophy of Cool Springs Family Medicine is as follows: But what if when you went to the doctor you discussed ways to avoid getting sick? What if you came away with information about natural ways to detox and augment your natural healing processes? What if you and your doctor looked at your whole family and, in turn, focused on your overall health, and not only the cause for that day’s visit?

This is our philosophy of health care. It’s different from what our patients may have been used to, but Integrative Medicine is a field that has been growing dramatically in the last 15 years and has been embraced by the biggest names in health care nationwide.

Cochrane recently put out a report in which it accuses the European Medicines Agency (EMA)of serious medical misconduct regarding the study design of the HPV vaccine, the refusal to look into the serious side effects and the conflict of interests of its members.

“We find it unacceptable that the EMA in its official report (2) did not make it clear that it allowed the drug companies to be their own judges (4) when evaluating whether the vaccine is safe, particularly since there is a huge amount of money at stake: The global expenditure so far on HPV vaccines can be roughly estimated at €25 billion. The EMA asked the companies to search for side effects of the vaccine in their own databases and did not check the companies’ work for accuracy. This is not an acceptable procedure. There are countless examples of drug companies hiding serious – even lethal – harms from the authorities (6) (see also under “8. Brinth” below).

Brinth: The EMA’s question 2 to the companies ”does not make any sense to me: If both the “vaccine group” and the “control group” received aluminium adjuvanted “placebo” or another aluminium adjuvanted vaccine as “placebo” – how does it make sense to ask the company to only discuss potential explanations including risk factors for the development if a difference is observed? By asking this question – I find that EMA actually states and take for granted that we know with a very high degree of certainty that we will not see side effects due to the adjuvant?” (2, p37).
We agree with Brinth. In all the vaccine trials apart from a small one, the “placebo” contained aluminium adjuvant, which is suspected of being neurotoxic. It is therefore difficult to find a difference between harms of the vaccine and the “placebo,” but the EMA failed to address this fundamental problem in its official report (2). It is clear from the EMA’s internal report (4) that the MAHs simply lumped the results from trials with a genuine placebo with those that had a potentially neurotoxic “placebo”: “Clinical safety data. For the purpose of the referral, the MAH was requested to provide an in depth review of the CRPS and POTS cases observed within all clinical studies. To respond to this request, the MAH has pooled the safety data from 18 completed and unblinded studies designed with an active comparator group (either placebo or another vaccine other than an HPV vaccine, i.e. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A) which includes a total of 42,047 vaccinees (21,268 in HPV group and 20,779 in comparator groups)” (4, p119 in the pdf, or 7/67 in the subdocument). We believe this constitutes scientific misconduct, but the EMA accepted it nonetheless, without reservations: “Strength of the potential association. The few cases reported from RCTs [randomised clinical trials] are evenly distributed between the qHPV and placebo groups which does not suggest an association” (4, p20 in the pdf, or p11 in the subdocument).

  2. Why is the one moronic, pandering practice that decries vaccines in the news when the thousands of intelligent physicians who can understand science are not? When will this idiocy end? Vaccines are safe; diseases kill children. Vaccinate.

You-are-no-science-anything. Just a Truman show mook who’s main priority is knowing the “correct” response. You don’t even offer a basis for a single one of your statements, just a blowhorn walking. The stupid and gullible get a chance too and people are sick of a bunch of worthless autistic rug rats to drag around.

Not a good time for vaccine manufacturer Merck. How can vaccines be mandatory when there are charges of corruption and fraud currently pending
Merck, the pharmaceutical giant, is facing a slew of controversies over its Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine following numerous allegations of wrongdoing from different parties in the medical field, including two former Merck scientists-turned-whistleblowers. A third whistleblower, this one a scientist at the Centers for Disease Control, also promises to bring Merck grief following his confession of misconduct involving the same MMR vaccine.

The controversies will find Merck defending itself and its vaccine in at least two federal court cases after a U.S. District judge earlier this month threw out Merck’s attempts at dismissal. Merck now faces federal charges of fraud from the whistleblowers, a vaccine competitor and doctors in New Jersey and New York. Merck could also need to defend itself in Congress: The staff of representative Bill Posey (R-Fla) — a longstanding critic of the CDC interested in an alleged link between vaccines and autism — is now reviewing some 1,000 documents that the CDC whistleblower turned over to them.

The third whistleblower — a senior CDC scientist named William Thompson — only indirectly blew the whistle on Merck. He more blew it on himself and colleagues at the CDC who participated in a 2004 study involving the MMR vaccine. Here, the allegations involve a cover-up of data pointing to high rates of autism in African-American boys after they were vaccinated with MMR. In what could be high-profile House hearings before Congressman Posey’s Science Committee — hearings made all the more explosive given the introduction of race into the mix — Merck could find itself under unprecedented scrutiny. The CDC still stands by its study although Frank DeStefano, the CDC’s Director of Immunization Safety and a co-author in the CDC study, also stated that he plans to review his notes with an eye to reanalyzing the data. How can Kathleen say vaccines are safe and effective when the studies have not been done.

Parents who have done their research are aware that their children are guinea pigs. No double blind studies have been done on any of the current vaccine schedule. A retrospective study on vaccinated vs unvaccinated children could be done but the government consistently refuses to do it, despite there being thousands of unvaccinated children to do a control on. One can only ask why?? Perhaps they know unvaccinated children are healthier as many studies have shown.
Before a new vaccine can be licensed by the FDA, it must first be tested by something called “concomitant use studies.” Concomitant use studies require new vaccines to be tested with existing vaccines. (A bit like a tobacco company testing cigarettes with another brand of cigarettes and declaring its product safe because there is no difference in the health outcomes of the two groups).

Also you would know that the excuse given for not doing controlled randomised double blind studies on vaccines is always: controlled randomized double blind studies are unethical in certain circumstances, including the testing of vaccines.

The following is a sampling of studies that have not been done:

Safety of simultaneous vaccination vs. placebo
Mixing of vaccine adjuvants (for example, thimerosal and aluminum)
Follow up study of the higher rate of seizures from MMRV vs. MMR
There have been no studies of the remaining vaccines on the childhood schedule (beyond MMR and Hepatitis B) for associations with autism. This would include the following vaccines: Rotavirus, DTaP, Hib, PCV (pneumococcal), IPV (polio), Influenza, Varicella, and Hepatitis A.

There have been no studies of ingredients in childhood vaccines (besides thimerosal) for associations with autism.

  6. This is great news. Thanks to Cool Springs Family Medicine we will hopefully see more such decisions to keep people safe from the risky, corrupt, and made-up science of vaccination. Also hoping that the film “Vaxxed” which is now playing nationwide will expose the corrupt CDC and its doctored studies on vaccine safety for good.

I tend to listen to someone who can bring evindence to the table without name calling.
    I love science.
The word itself means observation and experiment.
    Science can be flawed!
Break free from what you have been told.
The government has been shoveling crap down out throats so we will believe it’s safe for years now they have added GMO’S to our vaccines and our food bone appetit!!

Stop mandatory vaccination! There are too many side effects. There are scientific studies that demonstrated the link mercury-autism.Our God does not allow us to consume or to be expose at such vaccine’s ingredients or heavy metals via chemtrails. Researchers have to discover a way to prevent or treat this illnesses. If private companies have not money to invest in this type of research it is better to explain us, to explain what happens and together we will find a solution.
