In the latest report from the Paraguay Ministry of Health, it shows that in the last three weeks 118 cases of dengue have been reported in the country. 90% of the cases come from five regions: Central (31), Pdte. Hayes (24), Concepción (22), Asunción (20) and Itapúa (9).
A slight increase in notifications is verified in Central, San Pedro, Asunción, Pdte. Hayes, Itapúa, Caaguazú, Guairá and Caazapá.
The serotypes circulating in the national territory are DEN-1 and DEN-2, which register a slight predominance in terms of dispersion.
Of the total samples processed, 55% correspond to DEN-2 and the rest to DEN-1.
As for chikungunya, cases continue to decline. In the last three weeks, 8 cases of chikungunya were recorded, one in each department, from San Pedro, Itapúa, Guairá, Caaguazú, Pdte. Hayes, Canindeyú, Amambay and Central. No case of the disease was reported in Asunción.

Regarding deaths from arboviruses, to date there are 15 deaths from dengue and 302 from chikungunya this year.
