In a follow-up on the dengue fever situation in Laos, the Center of Information and Education for Health under the Lao Ministry of Health reports 6,488 total cases through June 27.
Oudomxay province has reported the most cases with 1,396, followed by 1,016 cases in Khammuan province and 552 cases in Xayaboury province.
One dengue death has been reported in 2023 to date.
